Panda-type polarization maintaining (PM) fiber uses two symmetric stress-applying rods (SAP) to create high birefringence, maintaining linear polarization state of light transmission. This is critical for applications where polarization state must be precisely controlled.
With mass production capability for high-end models achieving ≥35dB extinction ratio, including standard coating, metal high-temperature coating and customized high-birefringence versions, these fibers serve defense, aerospace, energy and telecommunications industries.
